I wanted to shoot today and practice some techniques I was very recently taught. I booked professional model Fredau for the session and it was a great pleasure working with her to produce what are, for me, much better images than the past.
If you’re wondering whether to book a professional model or to get a friend to pose for you, I can definitely recommend someone like Fredau!
Anyway, onto the images:
Shooting portraits with someone as good at posing as Fredau is was a great pleasure. I could concentrate on my photography and not worry so much about directing her poses. Thanks Fredau.
Looking good Matt, bet your chuffed with these mate, look forward to you posting more !!
Matt lovely work love the bench shots
7933 great photograph
Great work Matt, bench ones are my favourites too. Have you considered a black and white conversion for some of the others? I’d be interested to see how they look in mono
Love the close ups on the bench Matt.
really digging the use of the blue back/hairlight – especially on the last few shots – very subtly done!
Good work sir. I’d really like to see a landscape crop of the last bench one cutting through the top of her hair.
Great images Matt…
Some great shots there Matt – Agree with Matt BW would like to see what some of them would like in mono
Thankyou for your comments everyone.
I’ll try some B&W conversions and see if that will negate the effect of the blue backlight
Nice photo’s Matty. I think that blue backlighting will look fabulous in snow scenes!
