Horse photography
Saturday just gone, I was commissioned to shoot the Strathmore and District Riding Club‘s summer show. Now I haven’t shot very much in the way of equestrian things (there is the previous post to look at) and was a little worried about how to capture any action shots there might be. On the day, I absolutely loved photographing the horses and their riders. The horses are magnificent beasts, their riders are absolutely passionate about them and that passion really shows in how they look after those horses.
I’d be extremely happy to be commissioned to photograph more equestrian events.
The first photograph shows how miserable the conditions were at some points in the day and at the end we have Laura Halil and Karate Z, who were Supreme in Show.
